"Within our mandate, "To develop and faciliatate Arts programming in our community", Lumsden & District Arts Council's objectives are:
1. to increase awareness of the Arts.
2. to increase the profile of Lumsden and district as a strong, culturally rich community.
3. to realize the potential for Arts and foster that reputation.
4. to be a catalyst for artistic experience.
5. to coordinate physical spaces within our community for Arts activity.
We achieve these by offering programs and services in the arts and by working with other organizations to increase the engagement of people in our district with the arts."
