Networking – speaking with others in the community regarding your services helps to spread by word of mouth and you gain information of the other business that you can pass on to your customers as well

Advertising – Your name gets printed in the Waterfront Press Chamber ad, once per month, and as well you have the opportunity to showcase your business on the Chamber page for a reduced rate. You also get your Business listed on the new website along with a link to your own website, if you have one. If you don’t have your own website , for a small fee & the annual cost of a domain name, you can have a page made up and hosted on the Chamber server. We also hand out a “welcome package” to new residents to which you can add anything to ( coupon, business card, free gift, brochure etc…) There are several opportunities which arise throughout the year that you can have your business part of as well.

Servanthood – As this is a volunteer run organization, you have the opportunity to give of your time and expertise to enhance both the group as well as the business community in the area we serve. New ideas are always welcome.

Free Lunch – Last, but not least, you get to enjoy a one hour lunch every month, with other business people and get some business tips and information when we have guest speakers. You can also bring a guest for a small fee.

Fees for the Fiscal year January 1 - December 31, 2009

Member Fee - $100 (FYI - if a Member joins after September 1 of a fiscal year, we usually carry their Membership Fee over to the next year.  ie. Fee covers from September 1, 2008 to December 31, 2009)

Member Fee with Sign in Corridor - $160  (FYI - the extra $60 was established to cover the cost of the Dept of Highway License Fee (currently $100 + GST) and corridor maintenance. That amount is subject to change based on recommendations from the Sign Corridor representative.)

One Membership/1 Meal - Guests are welcome to attend luncheon meetings for $10 per person. The St. Michael's Xmas Luncheon cost is $12 per person (2009)

One Membership/1 Business Promotion - (FYI - some members operate two or three different businesses. Promotion on the website and Chamber page are for 1 business name only. A Member must choose each year what name they wish to promote.)
